Joining in-studio will be Democratic Speech Writer and fellow blogger Brian Falldin along with field reporter/intrepid blogger Dusty Trice.

Topics we might be talking about include the continuing Jack Abramoff Scandal – closing arguments are over in the Kevin Ring Trial and the case is in the hands of the jury; Brian Falldin’s Challenge to Bachmann supporters; and a couple of blog stories we found the most interesting this week – and why! Plus, Coleen Rowley, Time Magazine’s 2002 Person Of The Year, will be calling in with an update on upcoming Peace Movement events!

We’ll definitely play “False Or False Witness!” where one lucky caller will have to correctly identify if a quote I read was actually uttered by Michele Bachmann (answer “False Witness!”) or if yours truly, the ol’ TwoPutter, simply made it up (answer “false”). Ladies and Gentlemen, yours truly – the ol’ TwoPutter – is hosting the Friday Edition of “Minnesota Matters” on AM-950 KTNF, The Voice of Minnesota! So, tune in the radio today to AM-950, or listen live on your computer, here. The Friday Edition runs from 6:00pm to 7:00. Joining in-studio will be fellow blogger Brian Falldin. Dusty Trice will be calling in and reporting from the GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Debate.

We’ve got a great show lined up! Major Baker from the Minnesota National Guard will be giving an update on where our Guard Members are serving overseas, and we’ll touch on communications in this digital age. Major Baker has earned a LOT of medals, including the Combat Action Badge; she is an American Hero.

Javier Morillo of SEIU’s Minnesota State Council will be joining us in-studio; somehow, I think the subject in the YouTube below will be part of our discussion!

Topics we might be talking about include the continuing Jack Abramoff Scandal – testimony is over in the Kevin Ring Trial and closing arguments are expected to begin Monday; Brian Falldin’s Challenge to Bachmann supporters; and the Military Veterans Rally tomorrow at the MnGOP Convention. As I understand it, anyone that supports our veterans are welcome to attend – but, if you only want to go for partisan political reasons, DON’T — support for those now serving and those who have served should be non-partisan, and that’s exactly what tomorrow’s rally is. I’ll be there to support as well as cover the event.

Day 5 of Brian Falldin’s Challenge To Bachmann Supporters

Last Friday night (Sept. 25th), yours truly – the ol’ TwoPutter – hosted the Friday Edition of AM-950’s Minnesota Matters radio show (you can listen to the archive, here). On it, co-host Brian Falldin issued a challenge:

I want someone to tell me. What has Michele Bachmann done for the 6th district? Name one positive thing she’s done for her constituents.

TPT, On Your Radio!

There’s a lot – a LOT! – going on today and this weekend, and yours truly – the ol’ TwoPutter – is going to be talking about it today, Friday, 9-11 from 5 to 7 pm on AM-950 Radio, “The Voice Of Minnesota!”

From 5 to 6, I’ll be guest hosting for Mike McIntee’s “Quick on the Uptake” show, and then I’ll be staying behind the mic for Friday’s “Minnesota Matters” show from 6 to 7.

Does Andy Gildea Still Work In Rep. Marty Seifert’s Capitol Office?

Brian Falldin reports that Andy Gildea currently works for the House GOP Caucus, and as recently as October 9th, 2008, Andy Gildea was one of GOP Rep. Seifert’s assistants. Does Andy Gildea still work in GOP Rep. Marty Siefter’s Capital office?

Whose IP Is It?

That’s “IP” as in “Internet Protocol” – and here’s why it’s important: on June 4th, at 6:32 pm, the following message was posted on GOP State Deputy Chair Michael Brodkorb’s personal blog:

Aside from her tax issue which will be huge, Brod will have to answer for her personal behavior if she runs. She’s – ahem – played the field. A lot.(MinnesotaDemocratsExposed)

At the time, I didn’t think a lot of it; it seems to be there’s some exceedingly vile stuff posted over at GOP State Deputy Chair Michael Brodkorb’s personal blog. However, blogger Brian Falldin of Change We Must Fight For began noticing a pattern; a pattern on right-wing blogs of posts smearing Laura Brod.

Right-wing blogger Andy Aplikowski tried to take the high road and wrote about this smear campaign in a post that was almost immediately deleted. Among other things, Andy alleges “…a Republican staffer in the capital…” is involved in this smear campaign. Andy explained why he deleted that post here; it’s important to note that Andy did NOT retract his allegations. In a nutshell, Andy found that exposing problems in the GreedOverPrinciples party isn’t a lot of fun, if you’re a rightwinger.

Brian Falldin sent some questions to GOP Gubenatorial Candidate Marty Seifert, who was identified by name in Andy’s deleted post. The Q ‘n A is here.

Here’s what I found interesting, in Marty Seifert’s response:

I would ask anyone in question that allegedly has done this to open up to a lie detector test, open up cell and computer records and come clean.

Well, that should be a real easy one for GOP State Deputy Chair Michael Brodkorb. All he has to do is go back to June 4th, 2009 at 6:32 pm in his personal blog’s records, and find out who “J” is – by using the IP Address “J” used to post.
